April Shows

April Show

Thanks to Adah Rose Gallery, I have a collection of 12 black and white Polaroids on view at Sub Urban Trading Company in Kensington, Maryland, for the month of April. The work ranges from solitary abstract-like images to diptychs and triptychs of summery scenes, and is the first time my work has been shown on its own by a gallery.

Sub Urban Trading Company is located at 10301 Kensington Pkwy, Kensington, MD 20895

While you’re in Kensington, don’t miss Adah Rose Gallery located in Antiques Row at 3766 Howard Avenue, for several of my Polaroid transfers and the current exhibit, which changes monthly. Be sure to look through the artist portfolios, too.

On April 14 and 15, stop by The Adah Rose Pop Up Gallery @ Kate’s, a 2-day art exhibit in a private residence in the Logan Circle neighborhood featuring artwork by local artists, including several of my own pieces. Participating artists include: Andrew Acquadro, John James Anderson, Joan Belmar, Tom Block, Lori Anne Boocks, Mei Mei Chang, Ian Delaney Doherty, Dana Ellyn, Elizabeth Grusin-Howe, Brie Husted, Laila Jadallah, Angela Kleis, Sidney Lawrence, Joyce McCarten, Susan Stacks, Aniekan Udofia, Suzanne Yurdin, and Julie Wolsztynski.

The Adah Rose Pop Up Gallery @ Kate’s
1328 Corcoran Street, NW, #2, Washington, D.C.

Opening Reception: Saturday, April 14, 7 to 9 p.m.
Open for visits: Saturday & Sunday, April 14 and 15, 1 to 5 p.m.

Look for updates about Artomatic, opening May 18 in Crystal City, to come very soon.

I am still writing a weekly photo post for the Smithsonian Studio Arts blog, as well as covering arts events for DCist.

I hope to see you at some arts events very soon!
